Our Process

We would love to see you here and talk through the benefits of your child coming to Butterfly Preschool.

01 — Get in touch

The first step is to get in touch, either by completing our contact form, enrolment form or by calling the team on 06 757 8344.

02 — Visit Butterfly Preschool

When you visit the centre please bring along your child so you can both discover the facility together. You will be met by a member of the team who will show you around and answer any questions you may have. Your child will have an opportunity to explore the toys and meet some of the children.

03 — Opportunity To Enrol

If you are wanting to enrol with us you will be asked to complete an enrolment form before a start date can be arranged or, if necessary, your name will be added to the waiting list.

In our settling in process, we understand that every child is different and may require a different time frame for this to others. That’s ok. While we find that children settle here very quickly, we will be totally flexible to ensure you are both comfortable and happy.

04 — First Day

Your child’s first day this can be nerve wracking time (we find the child is ok but the parents need a cuddle), so feel free to call and see how they are doing at any time.

05 — Part Of The Butterfly Whānau

You will regularly be updated on your child’s progress via the Storypark app, their learning portfolios, daily chats from your child's key teacher, newsletters, emails and Facebook.
